How on earth did it get to be Friday again so soon and time for another PAW; Pet-friendly Accommodations Worldwide Weekly Update Post?? (Seriously!)
Great week here at Luxury PAW, got so much accomplished!
Developed two monthly newsletters; one for site users & customers (register HERE to get one delivered to your email each month) and one specifically for luxury pet-friendly hoteliers (register HERE for one of these). Also emailed our collection of PAW hotels with a new promotional program called the ‘PAW of Approval’. If you are a pet-friendly luxury hotelier or a pet-friendly or pet related business and would like information about this new program or any other advertising opportunities available on PAW email info@luxurypaw.com.
We signed on with DogTime Media (which I am thrilled about) to help us with some advertising on the PAW site. Not only does DogTime Media handle pet-related advertisers, they also provide some wonderful new content for PAW site users. Look in the left hand margin for the Media widget. Here you will find fantastic pet-related content such as articles, videos, photos and so much more! Such a great addition to the site!
Got my feet wet at Examiner.com and submitted my first two articles. I am going to try to provide really fresh content for my Examiner articles, things you won’t always see here so visit often. This week I wrote about a luxurious pet-friendly hotel in Dublin, Ireland for St. Patricks Day!
I Twittered my little brains out and grew the Luxury PAW list of followers from 203 last Friday to (you’re going to love this) 1211 at last count this morning! Pet Life Radio received a new installment to the Travel Tails series as I interviewd J. Nichole Smith, owner of Dane+Dane Photography in Seattle, WA and co-owner of Dog is Good, fantastic apparel for humans who love pets! Check out their newst product the ‘United We Stand – Bark Obama’ T-shirt…it’s fab! The interview was very lively and should be posted by early next week, I think you’ll enjoy it! You can find it on Pet Life Radio or on the PAW site in the Pet Life Radio Widget in the left hand margin of the home page.
Speaking of radio, tune in on Tuesday, March 24 at 6:00 pm EDT to the “Travelin’ On’ internet radio show. They have asked PAW to talk with them about our business and pet-friendly travel and we are thrilled to be able to do so! I think it will be a really great interview, so tune in!

Examiner.com is a fantastic site filled with local and national information on almost any topic you can think of. I’ve accepted the position of National Pet Travel Examiner and I’m looking forward to having another outlet to publish pet-friendly travel information in an effort to help grow the pet-centric travel lifestyle!

People have been asking me for PAW updates, so beginning today, I am going to write a weekly update blog post on Friday mornings…So step into the car and I hope enjoy the roller coaster ride of keeping up to date on all of the growing pains and small victories of a new company!
It’s been quite a productive week here at PAW! We’ve discovered a wonderful new computer programming partner in Capitol Media who was referred to us through Dane-Dane Photography. Capitol Media has incorporated the Luxury PAW Blog into the PAW website and made PAW more visiable to the search engines as well, so YEAH Capitol Media! Can’t reccomend them enough, they’re great! Lots of upcoming projects with them to make the PAW site faster and as fantastic a site as it can be! Speaking of the Luxury PAW Blog, you’ll now notice at the bottom of every post a ‘share this’ button, use it and use it often , it helps spread the word about PAW and the more widely accepted pet-centric travel lifestyle we promote!
PAW has been actively recruiting site users/members and now it is unbeliveably easy to register to be a PAW member and receive our monthly newsletter. Just go HERE and register, (it’s 2 lines, takes 2 seconds) and if you register before March 31 you will be entered into a drawing for a FANTASTIC Puppy Prize (a $150.00 retail value). Big negotiations going on for PAW in the background of it all this week that we’ll keep all of our fans up to date on when we can talk about it (very exciting stuff!) and new ways to follow PAW as we provide up-to-date luxury, pet-friendly hotel and travel information. One example of that is we are thrilled to announce that PAW’s Janine Franceschi has recently been named the ‘Pet-friendly Travel Examiner” for Examiner.com! Beginning in April, (boy that’s right around the corner) you’ll be able to find a minimum of 4 articles weekly of fresh, luxury pet-friendly hotel and travel content on the Examiner site written by me, Janine Franceschi, luxury pet-friendly hotel expert and owner of PAW. Watch for the introductory email to annouce that start date, In the mean time, check out Examiner.com, it’s such a great site!
And last but by no means least, it’s official, Beau and I will be hitting the road again in May to source and review some new East Coast luxury, pet-friendly hotels for you! We’ve confirmed the Palmetto Bluff, an Auberge Resort for early May and we’re so excited, we can’t wait!
